If a violation of law occurs on or off campus it is also a violation of University policy and the University may institute proceedings against the Respondent(s). Such action by the University is independent of and may proceed in parallel with civil or criminal action.
Ordinarily, the University will not pursue off-campus violations unless such violations are deemed to adversely affect University operations, including the safety and security of the University, University property, or individual members of the University community.
